Lecture on African-American Identity

Wheaton College's Center for Applied Christian Ethics welcomes Dr. Eddie S. Glaude, Jr. to campus Wednesday, February 3 to present a lecture titled “African-American Identity Through a Pragmatic Lens.” Dr. Glaude is the William S. Tod Professor of Religion and African-American Studies, Department of Religion, and Chair of the Center for African American Studies at Princeton University. He is also the author of several books. His latest is called In a Shade of Blue: Pragmatism and the Politics of Black America. Wednesday’s lecture takes place at 7 p.m. in Billy Graham Center’s Barrows Auditorium, located at 500 College Avenue in Wheaton. This event is free and open to the public.
